Mark and his team at Stone Creek were great to work with and helped me realize my dream to build a home in the country. The entire process was challenging and Mark and his team were very flexible and accommodating. From the beginning to the end I was consulted and included in the process.
Two of many examples illustrate Mark’s flexibility. I had selected the house plans after an exhaustive search in books and on the internet and purchased house plans that were close to what I wanted but needed to be customized. Mark connected me to an architect who was able to accommodate the site as well as to make changes I had requested for the interior space. Another example I recall is that part way through the build, I requested skylights be installed which were not part of the original house plans. However, Mark was able to get them installed and not slow down the progress on the rest of the house. These are two of many examples to illustrate the level of professionalism I received from Mark and the Stone Creek team.
Overall, his team was very professional and they came in on time despite the challenges of working on a rural property in February. What I think I will remember most of all about the experience, is Mark and his team’s including me in the process as much or as little as I chose; from the placement of the electrical boxes to the flooring, fixtures and appliances. In the end, I know I have a well-built home that reflects my personal style and I will enjoy it for many years.
